Door to door courier service
We are currently offering a temporary door to door courier service during the COVID-19 crisis.
Are you having to isolate yourself or follow the government guidance to shield? If so we can help to arrange a door to door courier service with one of our couriers – UPS. They have been doing a lot of work for us recently and can provide a quicker service than Royal Mail at the moment, which is quite understandable considering the workload that the postal system is currently experiencing.
UPS will collect from your doorstep and deliver direct to us, the parcel can have a maximum weight of 10Kg and have a £1000 transit insurance applied. If this is something that may interest you let us know so we can get something arranged. We realise (without offending anyone) that not everybody is able to get out to the post office at present which is totally understandable given the situation we all face in these uncertain times. We would simply like to help our customers at the moment and hopefully when things get better we’ll be able to return to normal.

The impressive DR5000 command station is state of the art, the DCC multi-bus central command station is the gateway to all things Digikeijs. The DR5000 command station can control your layout and trains when connected to a windows computer using iTrains or any other compatible software package enabling full automation of your layout. Or you could control your layout and trains using any manufacturer’s LocoNet or XpressNet handheld controller plugged in to one of the bus connections.
The DR5000 is the very first central command station with all imaginable bus connectors combined in a single compact device. This smart box has clear user friendly LED displays, easy to access Stop & Go buttons to control track power, with integrated USB, LAN and WiFi enabling you to work with different network types. All this functionality for a very reasonable price of £177.84.
New product lines
We have added a range of wire to our website, which we have been waiting for the last few months. They are available in lengths of 5 meters, the layout and accessory wire is available in a full range of colours, whilst the dropper and track bus wires are available in red and black. These are high quality, flexible, multi-purpose stranded wire with tinned copper conductors wrapped in a PVC insulation. This wire is ideal for general layout connections to track and accessories, track droppers and track bus wiring respectively.
The tools added include miniature side cutters, snipe nose pliers – which are handy for inserting track pins, round nose pliers and wire strippers. We have also added the Antex XS25W 230V 25W soldering iron and accessories. The Antex soldering irons are commonplace in industrial and hobbyist use alike, they are extremely reliable and suffer low heat loss owing to the excellent design of the soldering tips that wrap around the heating element.
