Gaugemaster GM2250101 – Network Rail Track Cleaning Vehicle
This is the renowned Dapol Track Cleaning vehicle with a modern twist. It needs to be hauled by a locomotive as the often described ‘motorised’ element of this item reflects the motor driving the cleaning heads and not the movement of the model.
It works by the track cleaning vehicle supplying a small amount of cleaning fluid and then polishing the rails with the rotating pads. A full range of spares and fluids are available from Dapol. Please note that Track Cleaning Fluid is not supplied with the model.
Note: The track cleaner in N scale is not DCC ready, however, a decoder can be hard-wired. If you would like to have this fitted with a DCC decoder – we typically use a Lenz Silver Mini – please contact us for further details.
