This solder wire from Multicore / Loctite – a leading manufacturer of adhesives – is a rosin-cored solder wire which is suitable for fast soldering on copper and brass surfaces as well as solder-coated materials.
 
A very high-quality solder which flows smoothly owing to the rosin flux core, provides excellent solder joint reliability, superior joint strength and excellent thermal and mechanical fatigue resistance.
 
For professional and industrial use only.

  • Good wetting on most common surfaces
  • Non-corrosive
  • Halide activated
  • External diameter: 1mm / 18AWG
  • Melting temperature: 183 – 188°C
  • Composition: 60% Sn (Tin), 40% Pb (Lead) solder alloy
  • RoHS: non-compliant
 

Please note: This product contains lead and rosin. As of 1st March 2018, the supply of solder containing lead at a concentration above the relevant limit as set out under Article 67 (by virtue of Annex XVII of the REACH regulation) is restricted to professional use only. It is recommended that fume extraction is employed when using lead and rosin-based solder.

We recommend that educational settings use lead-free solder for all projects.
