Digikeijs DR5000-Combi – DCC command station & Uhlenbrock Daisy 2 throttle bundle

This amazing value bundle comes complete with the Digikeijs DR5000 command station and an Uhlenbrock Daisy 2 throttle, giving you many options from handheld control, to tablet or smartphone control through its built-in WiFi node, and also computer control for advanced features and automation.

This bundle is not only a great starter kit for those wanting simple handheld control, but offers future expansion options without the need to upgrade your DCC command station at a later date, as everything is already in place.

The Uhlenbrock Daisy II handheld controller is suitable for operation on all command stations with a LocoNet connection. Depending on the system configuration, between 4 and 20 DAISY II handheld controllers can be used at the same time. The Daisy II comes with a 3m spiral cable giving you the flexibility to move around your layout.

The Digikeijs DR5000 DCC multi-bus central command station is the gateway to all things Digikeijs. The DR5000 command station can control your layout and trains when connected to a windows computer using iTrains or any compatible software package, enabling full layout automation. Or you could control your layout and trains using any manufacturer’s LocoNet or XpressNet handheld controller plugged into one of the bus connections. The DR5000 is the very first central command station with all imaginable bus connectors combined in a single compact device. This smart box has clear user friendly LED displays, easy to access Stop & Go buttons to control track power, with integrated USB, LAN and WiFi enabling you to work with different network types.

Connectivity for the DR5000

You can connect to your DR5000 via USB, LAN and WIFI. Using the USB connection, a connection can be made with your computer/driver. In addition, firmware updates can be achieved via USB, and it is also possible to use protocols such as LocoNet or XpressNet V3 to look back at the events on your layout. XpressNet is the protocol (also called the ‘language’) that is ‘spoken’ by the Roco Maus editions and the Lenz LZV100 command station, and LocoNet is the protocol that is spoken by the IntelliBox, ProfiBoss, Twincenter and Z21 command stations, among others. DR5000 DCC multi-bus command station can make a LAN connection via a 100baseT Ethernet system. A local network can be connected through a DHCP.
